This database compiles standardized and up-to-date agricultural productivity and input-use statistics across countries, covering annual data on agricultural output, input indices, and factor shares. Most of the indices originate from the USDA International Agricultural Productivity (IAP) dataset provided by the Economic Research Service (ERS), while others—such as the Hicks-Moorsteen, Fare-Primont, and Lowe TFP indices—are computed by us using underlying data from the same USDA source. The dataset includes multiple Total Factor Productivity (TFP) indices as well as disaggregated input indices for labor, land, capital, materials, machinery, livestock, fertilizers, and feed, many of which are indexed to a 2015 baseline.
